Using getEduroam App

1. Open the Google Play Store.
2. Search for and install getEduroam.
3. Launch the app after installation.
4. Select University of Cape Coast.
5. Select Profile type:
   • Staff: Eduroam / UCC WIFI - Staff
   • Students: Eduroam / UCC WIFI - Student
6. Enter your email and password.
7. Accept certificate if prompted.
8. Check Wi-Fi to confirm Eduroam / UCC WIFI is active.

Using Manual Setup

1. Turn on Wi-Fi.
2. Select Eduroam / UCC WIFI from available networks.
3. Security: WPA2-Enterprise, EAP: TTLS, Phase 2: PAP.
4. Enter your email and password.
5. Leave Anonymous identity blank.
6. Where applicable set Certificate option to Do not validate.
7. Accept certificate (if applicable) and connect.

iPhone / iPad

Using getEduroam / UCC WIFI App

1. Open App Store and install getEduroam.
2. Launch the app and select University of Cape Coast.
3. Select Profile type:
   • Staff: Eduroam / UCC WIFI - Staff
   • Students: Eduroam / UCC WIFI - Student
4. Enter your email and password.
5. Download configuration profile.
6. Settings → General → VPN & Device Management → Install profile.
7. Trust certificates.
8. Connect to Eduroam / UCC WIFI.

Windows

Using getEduroam Installer

1. Visit cat.eduroam.org.
2. Click download eduroam installer and select University of Cape Coast.
3. Select Profile type:
   • Staff: Eduroam / UCC WIFI - Staff
   • Students: Eduroam / UCC WIFI - Student
4. Download Windows installer for University of Cape Coast.
5. Run installer, enter email and password.
6. Click install, finish the setup, and connect to Eduroam / UCC WIFI.

Using Manual Setup

1. Turn on Wi-Fi and select Eduroam / UCC WIFI.
2. Enter credentials, accept certificate and connect.

macOS

Using getEduroam / CAT profile

1. Visit cat.eduroam.org.
2. Click download eduroam installer and select University of Cape Coast.
3. Select Profile type:
   • Staff: Eduroam / UCC WIFI - Staff
   • Students: Eduroam / UCC WIFI - Student
4. Download the macOS profile and click on the downloaded file.
5. Now Go to Setting on your mac, then search for Profile
6. From the search results, locate eduroam and click on it to open
7. Enter your email and password (Repeat it when prompted)
8. Accept/Trust certificates and connect to Eduroam / UCC WIFI.

NB: For older macOS versions (macOS 12 Monterey and earlier), you may need to plug in a network adapter to configure it.

Linux

Using getEduroam / CAT script

1. Visit cat.eduroam.org.
2. Click download eduroam installer and select University of Cape Coast.
3. Select Profile type:
   • Staff: Eduroam / UCC WIFI - Staff
   • Students: Eduroam / UCC WIFI - Student
4. Download Linux installer profile.
5. Run bash ./filename.sh in terminal.
6. Enter your credentials and connect to Eduroam / UCC WIFI.

Using Manual Setup

1. Turn on Wi-Fi and select Eduroam / UCC WIFI.
2. Enter your credentials, accept the certificate, and connect.

Chromebook

Using CAT profile

1. Visit cat.eduroam.org.
2. Click download eduroam installer and select University of Cape Coast.
3. Select Profile type:
   • Staff: Eduroam / UCC WIFI - Staff
   • Students: Eduroam / UCC WIFI - Student
4. Download Chromebook profile.
5. Turn on Wi-Fi and select Eduroam / UCC WIFI.
6. Enter your email and password and connect.

Using Manual Setup

1. Turn on Wi-Fi and select Eduroam / UCC WIFI.
2. Enter your credentials, accept the certificate, and connect.
